Membership in Valley Time Trade is open to people of all ages and abilities. Join in 2 steps:

  1. Complete an online application   
    When you submit the form you are agreeing to the stated terms of service.
    Members under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign and provide contact info.
  2. Attend an Orientation
    Learn about the philosophy and history of the movement, how our timebank is organized, our policies and procedures, use of the software to post offers and requests, and how to get started as a new member.
    Remote orientations – You will be notified about Video or Zoom meetings for individuals and groups.
    In-person orientations – at least 4 individuals at a location with wi-fi access for organizations and small groups – are currently not being offered due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the safety of all, violation of the terms of service or failure to follow the policies, procedures and Code of Ethics, can be grounds for loss of membership and deactivation of your Valley Time Trade account.

 Once the orientation is successfully completed, the member is granted access to log on to our secure website, where members create a profile, post service requests, review offers and track hours. If a member does not have a computer or Internet access, we will look for a computer buddy for them.
